Pallet Rack Column Guards 400mm - Upright Protector

Column guards are steel protectors that bolt to the floor in front of your pallet racking uprights, taking the impact from forklifts and pallet jacks so the frames themselves don't.

Uprights are the part of a racking system that carries the load, and they're also the part sitting right at the edge of every aisle. Column guards sit between the traffic and the frame, absorbing knocks at the height where they usually happen. At 400mm high they cover the strike zone for most forklift and pallet jack work.

Fit them at aisle ends, corners and anywhere your pick faces see regular traffic. Busy sites often run them the full length of a pick aisle, while quieter warehouses fit them only where the layout forces a tight turn. They're the cheapest part of a racking system to replace, which is the point — a guard is straightforward to swap out, where a damaged upright means unloading the bay.
